It's been a bad weekend for Gays & Lesbians

Bruno came out- enough said.

But also this story about a man who used the “gay panic” defense to get himself out of first degree murder. He claims he stabbed his gay neighbor to death (61 times) to fend of an unwanted sexual advance. The jury bought it and acquitted him of murder charges. I feel like this story came from the 90’s, when that kind of stuff was pretty commonplace.

Then news from Texas shows that a sailor was shot at his guard post and his guard shack was set on fire- all for being gay. The Navy is still ‘investigating’ that.

And of course the gay couple who was arrested for a hug and a kiss on the cheek near a Mormon plaza. The security guards say they requested the couple cease their inappropriate behavior, and when they asked why, they were handcuffed.
